Brown River Revival

It's where to catch the sermon of Rev. Scooter Jackson on the ills, thrills, and inevitable spills of MUSIC and its place in healing the soul, stealing the gold, and keeping a strong hold upon it's congregation of courageously converted constituents.

About The Rev.

My photo
Scooter Jackson
Scooter Jackson was born way down south in the mosquito infested river deltas of central Mississippi. Raised in the woods until old enough to venture out on his own, Scooter's influences were rooted in the local music styles of Blues, Jazz, and Country. With firm roots, he explored the world of music at a young age, consuming every style he could. Metal, Punkrock, Ska, Reggae, HipHop, Electronica, Industrial, Breakbeat, Jungle, Dub.... nothing was out of reach or reason. From being a drummer in a punkrock band, to over a decade of Dj'ing/Turntablism, Scooter has explored the realm of sound to shape his own style. With time spent living in Florida, NewOrleans, Screwston TX, and Southern California, not only does his music wander, so does the reclusive nomad known as Scooter Jackson.
